Works in Progress

  1. Close Calls - What started out as a short romp in Cassidy the world's most embarassing vampire's pre-Preacher days turned out to be a lot darker and a lot longer than originally scheduled. I'm nearly there!
  2. Salvage - A story that started out as a brief exploration of why Angel seemed so off-balance the first two seasons of Buffy. A work in progress that expanded way past my original paremeters...it's like chewing a raw oyster: the more I worked on it, the bigger it got. Bitch of Ravens is a fragment - drop in, tell me what you think.
  3. Amadeus - I am working on a Bolo novel that takes place in Keith Laumer's Dinochrome Brigade series. Admittedly, it's a different area from that which I usually do: it's pretty rough so far and I'd like to see it published some day. I figure if Mercedes Lackey can get a Bolo story printed, so can I.
  4. P. Cassidy as Judas - A rant, for those who like rants.

Finished

  1. Dead Boys - Another Cassidy exploration that predates "Close Calls". An experiment in two different p.o.v.s that led to the longer work.
  2. Hunger - What does Spike do when you don't see him hanging around Buffy like a bad smell? You get hints, but nothing definite. Here's my attempt to solve that mystery.
  3. Trophies - A nasty post coitus tour of Spike's brain after he and Buffy literally brought down the house . (Not for the squeamish or overly sentimental.)
  4. Danny - I've always found Riley disturbing - mainly because the writers never explored his full potential until Season 5 and only then at the very end.
  5. Wendy - In honor of the 100th Anniversary of Peter Pan, I bring you this "Buffyverse" take.
  6. Windows - Another tour inside Spike's head, not as raunchy as some of the others, but his voyurism has got to stop.
  7. William - This series is not for everyone in that it explores mental illness, reality, and cruelty. In fact, it's about as sexy as a roadkill supermodel. That said, dig in!
    1. Bitter Sugar - Spike and an attempt at a normal life.
    2. Baker Street - Willow meets Spike years after the fact.
    3. Anarchy's Song - There but for the grace of you go I.
  8. The Ghost of Maggie Walsh: Doll- A different kind of future.
  9. Spike 0, Maytag 5 - Spike in Xander's basement squat, and a washing machine that refuses to be bullied. Ditto the dryer.
  10. So Cruel - A concussion, a broken 'bot, and thou.

Satire/Commentary

The Angel Papers: a series of essays that look a little closer at Buffy's Angel and his "family". Uptight types need not bother: I've been told that some of these are funny.

  1. Hot Bod and Cold Feet - Why Vampires like electric blankets and other mysteries of the undead.
  2. Angelus Absurdities - Demonic Overbites and Culture Shock
  3. Bad Dreams?- Roast garlic must be a hallucinogen...
  4. What the Bad Angel Really Did in Buffy's Room - Adolescent pranks and general childishness...
  5. Vampiric Demises We'll Never See: Spike's Bad End - Stalkers and hot rollers just don't mix.
  6. Buffy vs. The Antiques Road Show- Ever wonder what would happen if you took a vampire in for appraisal?
  7. Subtle Signs of Aging in the Buffy Vampires: Things I Doubt We'll Ever See - Hey, these people are ancient, how do we know that this doesn't happen when they're not on the screen where we can see them?
  8. Buffy and the Beast: "Mommy! Mommy! There's a monster in my bed!" - Fairy tale parallels while reading cereal boxes. Now what?
  9. Animal Husbandry - A look into why you might want vampires around from the organic gardening perspective. Warning: original character, if you like that sort of thing...
